Maggie and Chris had their Mill Top wedding on a beautiful August day that was filled with laughter, smiles and some happy tears. Maggie and Chris’ Mill Top wedding was a destination wedding as the newlyweds traveled from their home on the east coast back to Noblesville, Indiana, which is located just outside Indianapolis. As their wedding photographer, I had the pleasure of capturing every beautiful moment of their special day. In this blog post, I’ll share some of my favorite photos and highlight the stunning details that made their wedding unforgettable.

The Venue: Mill Top Banquet and Conference Center

The Mill Top Banquet and Conference Center is a charming wedding venue located in the heart of Noblesville, Indiana. The venue’s exposed brick walls, hardwood floors, and tall ceilings provide a rustic and romantic atmosphere for weddings. Maggie and Chris chose this venue because of its unique architecture and charming character, which perfectly complemented their wedding style.

The Ceremony

Maggie and Chris exchanged vows in the Catholic Church located a few minutes away from Mill Top. A beautiful and poignant moment greeted everyone in attendance as Maggie, who lost her father a couple of years ago, walked into the church sanctuary holding her father’s folded United States flag.

Maggie’s father was a paratrooper in the US Army. Although her father wasn’t there in person, he was certainly there in spirit as Maggie incorporated his uniform and other military regalia into her wedding details. It was truly a special honor for me to incorporate his memory into her wedding gallery and highlight film.

The Reception

After the ceremony, the couple and their guests went back to Mill Top for cocktail hour and the reception. Mill Top weddings feature a warm, cozy and intimate feel. The reception hall was beautifully decorated with greenery and string lights, creating a warm and intimate ambiance. The couple’s first dance was a beautiful moment, and the speeches from family and friends were touching and heartfelt.

A SPECIAL REQUEST

As a wedding photographer, I strive to capture the magic of each couple’s special day. Maggie and Chris’ wedding was no exception. Their Mill Top wedding had one special photography request: a special photo of the two of them toasting Maggie’s father up above. Mill Top has a unique bar area, which they identified as being the perfect backdrop for the photo they wanted. Maggie’s father was known to many as ‘Bud Light Bob’ and they honored his memory by enjoying a Bud Light while posted up at the bar. I’m so grateful to have been a part of their special day.

In conclusion, Maggie and Chris’ wedding day at the Mill Top Banquet and Conference Center was a beautiful and unforgettable celebration of love. The venue’s rustic charm, the couple’s love for each other, and the joy shared by family and friends made for a perfect day. As their wedding photographer, I’m honored to have been a part of their special day and to have captured these beautiful moments for them to cherish forever.
