Natalie and Chad had their Barn on Enchanted Acres wedding on a bitterly cold but love-filled day in January.
You can tell that Natalie and Chad are native Clevelanders because they were not only unfazed by the thought of a winter wedding, but they also fully embraced it. From the colors they chose to the groom’s suit, Natalie and Chad showed once and for all that winter weddings can be incredibly beautiful and strikingly unique.
The Barn on Enchanted Acres
The Barn on Enchanted Acres is one of my favorite wedding venues in Northeast Ohio. Located in Dennison, Ohio, the Barn on Enchanted Acres is one of three venues located on a large tract of rolling woodlands. Although the Barn was the first venue at the site, it quickly became the “older brother” to two sibling venues: Bella Amore on Enchanted Acres and the newly-opened Glass on Enchanted Acres. All three venues are incredibly unique, each one featuring incredible photo and video locations, ceremony spaces and getting ready rooms.
The Barn on Enchanted Acres Weddings | Picking the right photographer and videographer
Natalie and Chad booked me for full photography and videography coverage, which has a number of benefits. Having photography and videography under the same company allows for a certain creative consistency between your wedding photos and wedding film. Additionally, booking both services under the same company means the planning process is much easier because it’s one less vendor to have to coordinate with.
Weddings at the Barn on Enchanted Acres | Winter is coming (and winter weddings are awesome!)
Natalie and Chad were surrounded by their friends and family who also braved the cold to attend their wedding. Because they opted not to do a first look, I was able to keep their timeline moving by having some of the family and bridal party portraits done before the ceremony.
Because the Barn on Enchanted Acres has a ceremony site within just a few feet of the main reception area, guests and family members were able to quickly warm up before and after the ceremony. The reception area is expansive and can easily accommodate well over 100 guests.
COLDER WEATHER AND COOLER TONES
Although my typical editing style generally hovers in the warm in moody sphere, I knew that my style had to adjust to what Natalie and Chad were wearing for their wedding day as well as the fact that it was a winter wedding. Adapting my style to match the vibe and aesthetic of my clients is something I take great pride in.
Their film is truly something special. Natalie and Chad read hand-written letters as part of their wedding film and the toasts at the reception were emotional, funny and memorable.
This was my first wedding for the 2023 season and I could not have picked a better, more joy-filled wedding to kick everything off. Enjoy some of my favorite photos from Natalie and Chad’s wedding at Barn on Enchanted Acres!
