What is the key to a great toast for a wedding or other special occasion? Authenticity.
I first met with Danielle and Marcel a couple of weeks before their wedding.
The pandemic forced a smaller guest list but they wanted those that couldn’t attend to still experience the joy and happiness from their wedding day. As I’ve said time and time again, there is simply no better way to capture your day than to hire a wedding videographer.
I’m so grateful and honored that they chose Catchlight Film & Photo Co.
Traditional + Fun-Filled Party
From their formal and traditional Catholic ceremony to their intimate, fun-filled party, it truly was a perfect day. Danielle and Marcel were as sweet and easy to work with as their love is genuine. Now, they can re-live that day over and over and over again.
Oh, and the speeches from the maids of honor and best man? ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS.
When you’ve been to as many weddings as I have, you notice some of the pitfalls that people step into when trying to craft their best man or maid of honor speeches. The advice I always give to people: just make the speech authentic and personal. Funny stories, emotional moments, inside jokes: all of these things are the ingredients to a great toast. Don’t overthink it.
That’s the key to a great toast.
