A Windows on the River wedding is one of the top tier wedding venues in Cleveland and Northeast Ohio. It has quickly become one of my favorite venues because of the stunning views, incredible service and breathtaking ambiance. A Windows on the River wedding can be as big or as small as you’d like. It offers three different wedding and reception spaces spread across three floors. Each “venue” inside the venue offers a different backdrop: the City View room, the Bridge View room, and the River View room. Each floor has its unique personality while all three offer floor-to-ceiling windows. The venue also has an outdoor patio that is perfect for cocktail hour or an outdoor ceremony. All three rooms offer outstanding amenities, making this venue perfect for couples who want to have an unforgettable wedding experience.
Windows on the River Wedding | Emily and Andrew’s day
I have been fortunate in my career to have shot a Windows on the River wedding at each one of the three rooms. Over the summer, I shot Emily and Johnny’s wedding. Although the two of them grew up in the Cleveland area, they have since relocated to California. When it came down to getting married, however, they knew they had to come home. Although the COVID-19 pandemic forced them to reschedule their wedding TWICE, they still managed to renew their vows in front of family and friends.
Then, in February, I had the privilege of capturing Emily and Andrew’s Windows on the River wedding, which was planned by my great friends at Oh Hello Event Planning. Emily and Andrew’s day started at Crowne Plaza Hotel, which boasts beautiful views of Playhouse Square, the second largest theater district in the United States.
After getting ready, Emily and Andrew had their first look in Playhouse Square, which was an adorable moment I was honored to have been a part of. After that, we toured some of the best spots in downtown Cleveland for their portraits, including The Arcade!
