…. that’s what I thought.
The wedding industry is no exception.
However, over the months, I’ve noticed a very unique and noteworthy trend come up: the backyard wedding. Backyard elopements have also grown exponentially. Tara, for example, had to change her plans from the top down once the pandemic hit and restrictions were implemented.

You will hear me say time and time again that your wedding, first and foremost, should be about you getting married. If there is a silver lining to the pandemic, it’s that a lot of couples realized that point. I’ve had a half dozen clients so far this year push back their grand receptions to 2021 in favor of smaller ceremonies in 2020. Sure, there are some scheduling considerations but, all in all, it’s certainly a possibility.
