Andrew & Bridgette’s Cleveland Yachting Club Wedding in September | Cleveland Wedding Photographer & Videographer

Andrew and Bridgette’s September wedding at the Cleveland Yachting Club felt effortless in the way only truly present days do. Early fall light. Calm water. A steady, unhurried pace from beginning to end. Their wedding unfolded with intention—refined, joyful, and deeply rooted in connection.

As both their wedding photographer and videographer, I was able to document the day as it naturally moved, from quiet anticipation to full-bodied celebration, with the lake and marina anchoring the story throughout.

A Lakefront Cleveland Wedding with Timeless Energy

September is one of the most beautiful months at the Cleveland Yachting Club. The air cools just enough. The light softens. The marina feels alive but unhurried. That atmosphere shaped Andrew and Bridgette’s day from the start.

The grounds provided clean lines, open space, and a sense of ease. Everything felt intentional without feeling staged. The venue allowed moments to unfold organically—something that shows up clearly in the imagery.

Portraits Defined by Movement and Calm

One of the defining visual elements of the day was Bridgette’s veil. It moved constantly—lifted by breeze, stretched wide in open space, and wrapped gently around both of them in quieter moments. Several portraits center on that movement: Bridgette standing with her veil extended like wings, and later, the two of them held together beneath it, the world softened around them.

Andrew and Bridgette’s portraits were unforced and grounded. They moved slowly. They stayed close. At times, they stood forehead to forehead, letting the moment settle. Other times, Andrew pulled Bridgette in from behind along the docks, the marina stretching out behind them. The images feel relaxed, confident, and deeply connected to place.

A Just Married Send-Off by the Water

One of the most joyful moments of the day came on the water itself. Andrew and Bridgette boarded a boat with a “Just Married” banner trailing behind them, the marina framing the scene. It was celebratory without being loud—joyful, intimate, and unmistakably them.

Those images carry a sense of release. The ceremony had passed. The vows were spoken. What remained was pure joy.

Evening Light and a Celebration Indoors

As the day transitioned into evening, the celebration moved indoors. Toasts were filled with laughter and raised glasses. Bridgette lifted her arms high, champagne in hand, the room responding in kind. The energy was warm and communal—less about spectacle and more about shared experience.

Photographing and filming these moments preserved not just how the evening looked, but how it felt: joyful, relaxed, and full.

Photographing and Filming Weddings at the Cleveland Yachting Club

The Cleveland Yachting Club offers one of the most dynamic backdrops in the city. From open green space to marina docks and indoor reception areas filled with light, it allows wedding days to breathe. For couples who value atmosphere, movement, and timeless imagery, it’s an exceptional venue.

Andrew and Bridgette’s wedding is a reminder that some of the most meaningful celebrations are the ones that unfold without urgency—rooted in trust, connection, and the freedom to be fully present.

If you’re planning a wedding at the Cleveland Yachting Club or anywhere along the lake and are looking for a wedding photographer and videographer who approaches the day with intention and immersive storytelling, I’d love to connect. The most enduring images often come from moments that are simply allowed to happen.

Cleveland Wedding Videographer. Photographer. Eternal Optimist. Nostalgic Soul.

From Texas to Cleveland, I've always been a storyteller. I grew up taking photos of people and places on film. Yes, you read that right.

It was that long ago.

In 2023, I hung up my hat as a news reporter of 13 years and leaped into life as a Cleveland wedding videographer and photographer – the perfect fusion of two of my favorite things: telling stories and capturing moments.

I strive to infuse every frame with the warmth, joy and reverence your love deserves. Photography and filmmaking isn’t just a job to me. It's a privilege to capture the feelings and the beauty — the beacon your love radiates to everyone around you.
